This has been one technology transition that has been hard on everyone - video publishers, mobile companies, end users, and application developers. Hopefully this marks the beginning of the end of this one.
Someone clearly has a case of Dexteritis! On a serious note, it takes big courage to acknowledge failure, even though this decision has come a little late, IMO Adobe deserves more respect than mockery.
